Reynolds Garden Shop

Every time I head back to the town I grew up in, I always make a conscious effort to stop by Reynolds Garden Shop . They have a cute gourmet market at the back of their garden shop that carries jams from Stonewall kitchen and baking mixes from Barefoot Contessa. It had been quite some time since my last visit home and so it was nice to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city to some peace and quiet. I took some extra time to walk through their greenhouse which was overflowing with beautiful greenery and filled with fresh scents and floral aromas.

My hometown is only minutes from the beach and so naturally the back of the garden shop was filled with little nautical treasures that made perfect decorating pieces for the homes in our area. Wooden ships with canvas sails, rustic books, and old compass trinkets filled the shelves. What I did love seeing was the new festive season decoration as well. Pretty little jack o’ lanterns and scarecrows that could put smiles on your face. They also had adorable name placeholders that were funky and perfect for the fall season. Not to mention, a few sets of adorable measuring cups that would last beyond the season lined the shelves as well.

As I was making my way up to the front, I couldn’t help but swing by the jewelry counter. To my delight, I was surprised to the see the book from one of my favorite bloggers: Cupcakes and Cashmere.

Every time I leave this store, I always feel inspired to throw on some vintage jewelry, put out some funky napkins and put on a party. With the holidays coming up, who knows what festivities could arise!
