08 Nov Flavor Combination to Love: Blueberries + Honey Granola
Everyone knows the most important meal of the day is breakfast. It helps you jumpstart and prepare for the rest of the day. This morning, I decided on yogurt topped with blueberries and honey almond granola. Mixing blueberries with the flavor of honey is one of my go to combinations. Often times I start with one ingredient and want to be able to quickly look up what flavors work well with it and so I consult the amazing Flavor Bible by Karen Page.
I am going to be starting a new section here on the blog that features pairs of ingredients/flavors that I’ve found to work well together. No intricate recipes that take a lot of reading, just lots of photos with a tip or two. I’m hoping that you all will take the ingredients that intrigue you and get creative with your own recipes.
This section is here to inspire. If the combinations we post inspire you to make something great, be sure to send us a note, we’d love to hear from you!
