02 Jan Cheers to a New Year

As we embark on the New Year, I wanted to take the chance to wish everyone health and happiness in 2015!

New Year’s Eve only comes once a year and I wasn’t going to miss my chance to use this as an excuse to dress up! I usually go with something glitzy and glittery but this year I decided to keep it classy. I went with a black and white outfit and added a pop of color with ruby red lips and matching nails. I had this adorable leather skort from Topshop that I’ve been dying to wear and although it’s been cold in the city, I layered up with a thick fur to keep me warm. I finished off the look with a pair of suede booties from Dolce Vita and gold detailed clutch from Pietro NYC.

My favorite party food go to book is the Tiny Food Party book. The recipes in this book include everything from simple to complex and the twist is that every thing is miniature! Sit down dinners and buffets can be a hassle so I love the appetizer and cocktail setup where you can put out bite sized food. I also made simple things, such as snacking nuts, look fancy by putting them in cute cupcake wraps from Cakes.com.
